There are two main endings and three possible routes in Witch Spring 3. While they have no official names, they are commonly known as "good ending" and "bad ending," and the Light, Dark, and True Routes.

Your route affects the story from Chapters 4 on, changes Eirudy's outfit, determines what side events are available, determines your ending illustration, and affects certain post-game content (if available).

Post-game is only accessible on the Light and True Routes.

Route Splits

Light vs. Dark/True

The first major choice is made in Chapter 3: Savior On The Run, which has 2 or 3 options based on your choices earlier in the game.

  1. "Adri is different. I trust Adri." - Takes you to Chapter 4: Tri-Caliber. (Light Route)
This option only appears if you chose to help the wagon driver and/or trust Adrian in Chapter 2.
  2. "I don't know." - Takes you to Chapter 4: Dark Path. (Dark/True Routes)
  3. "No human can be trusted." - Takes you to Chapter 4: Dark Path.

If you go to Tri-Caliber, Eirudy gets the Temple Lord's Dress.

Going on Dark Path gives Eirudy the Crow Dress; if you choose the True Route, Eirudy will later switch back into the White Battledress (her original outfit).

It is not possible to get both the Temple Lord's Dress and the Crow Dress in a single playthrough.

Chapter 4: Dark Path choices

If you take Chapter 4: Dark Path, there is another choice that determines whether Eirudy fully falls to the dark side, or whether she will return to the light:

  1. "Eat her soul." - Commit to Dark Route
  2. "Let her go." - Switch to True Route during Chapter 4 event - The Twisted Fate (storyline merges with Light Route's)

During "The Twisted Fate," there are also two extra CGs on the True Route.

None of the Chapter 4 side events can be completed on the Dark Route, but they can be completed on the True Route.

Ending Illustrations

The ending illustration(s) you get depend on your ending path. While the Light and True Routes use the same CGs, the artwork changes to reflect their outfit (Temple Lord's Dress or White Battledress).

The completed final illustration

After completing Chapter 5: The Last Cup, a final illustration will appear after the credits, representing all the character events you've completed and the dolls you've awakened during the main story.

The bottom row, plus Monnet, Regal, and Esther, are automatically filled out. Dolls can only be 100%'d on the True Route, since the Light Path cannot unlock the Dark Marionette Room and obtain Bernick until post-game.

From left-to-right of the optional characters: Judith, Hector, Brad, Filia, Za'rrel the Weaponmaker, Raymond and Lize, and the Shezarian Souls. Their requirements are:
