Witch Spring 3 combines the weapon system of Witch Spring 2 with the equipment slots of Witch Spring. Eirudy gets one weapon slot and one equipment slot, which she can freely interchange.

Some weapons are acquired through events, while others can be crafted. Accessories, on the other hand, are almost entirely acquired through events. Some weapons and accessories can only be acquired in the post-game and have thus been listed separately.

Dryad Staff:
  • Acquired: Automatically, Crafting Research lv. 1
  • Crafting materials: 1 Spirit Woodpiece, 3 Cloth Piece, 3 Froggy Pearl
Enhanced Dryad Staff:
  • Acquired: Crafting Research lv. 1
  • Crafting materials: 1 Dryad Staff, 3 Spirit Twig, 1 Warrior Sword
  • Description: Wand that had been hardened using solid materials. Its physical attack has also been enhanced. Equip to get physical and magic ATK 10% up and AGI 30% up.
Red Dryad Staff:
  • Acquired: Crafting Research lv. 5
  • Crafting materials: 1 Enhanced Dryad Staff, 2 Lavarock Horn, 5 Sparkling Yellow Stone Powder
  • Description: A dryad wand with the energy of fire. Magic ATK 20% up, physical ATK 15% up, and AGI 40% up. Damage 30% up when using fire magic, and leaves burning effect to the enemy when using physical attack.
Blue Dryad Staff:
  • Acquired: Crafting Research lv. 5
  • Crafting materials: 1 Enhanced Dryad Staff, 1 Ice Thorn, 5 Cold Rock
  • Description: A dryad wand with the energy of ice. Magic ATK 20% up, physical ATK 10% up, and AGI 40% up. Damage 30% up when using ice magic, and gives freezing effect to the enemy.
Opinion (Flecher1s): The Red and Blue Dryad Staffs are an effective way of boosting fire or ice magic. If you find yourself using one of these elements often, it will be beneficial in early game to make one of them. The Agility boost they provide is also useful for allowing Eirudy to act faster and prevent enemies from attacking her.
Maegrik Blade:
  • Acquired: Crafting Research lv. 7
  • Crafting materials: 1 Red Dryad Wand, 1 Flaming Maegrik Dragon Scale, 1 Maegrik's Egg, 1 Heart of Lavalord
  • Description: Sword with power of explosion. To control the sword, the wielder must have at least 300 MAG. The owner may then take out the sword's infinite explosive power and use it to attack. Equip to get the default physical ATK 15% up. Your ATK will become 4% stronger every turn.
Opinion (Flecher1s): Despite being unlocked at the last stage of crafting research, the Maegrik Blade is inferior to the Khan Za'rrel, and will only be stronger than Fine Blade Shubetha if give enough time to stack ATK. Its effect is also less potent than the Red Dryad Staff's, as the Red Dryad Staff also boosts Magic ATK and AGI that the Maegrik Blade does not, while also buffing Physical ATK by the same base amount. Despite the description "explosion", the blade's regular attack only hits a single target.

Events Edit

Armedak the Holy Sword:
  • Acquired: Pick from the three treasures Adrian shows you (cannot pick the others afterwards)
  • Description: It is a sword found in Morell's Temple. It is said that it has been blessed by Revgato as it was used in the ceremony of the spring in the past. Equip to get physical ATK 18% up and magic effect 10% up.
  • Note: If you undergo Marii's test of patience with Armedak in your possession, you acquire both the Ecarr Vertel spell and unlock Armedak's Ecarr Vertel spell, which will appear in the combat menu when you have Armedak equipped. (As such, you wouldn't need to have the Ecarr Vertel spell in a spell slot.) In post-game, there is an upgraded form called True Armedak.
Old Staff of Revgato:
  • Acquired: Pick from the three treasures Adrian shows you (cannot pick the others afterwards)
  • Description: The staff known to be used by the ancient god, Revgato. Equip to get magic ATK 32% up, and give additional damage to up to 2 other non-targeted enemies. However, physical ATK will be reduced by 20%.
  • Note: Picking this is the only way to acquire the Staff of Revgato. This is acquired by having the Old Staff in your possession and then, if you are on the Light or True paths, completing the event at the Spring of Truth in Misty Forest.
    • Important Note: After you enter the vision, regardless of whether you have the Old Staff equipped or not, you will see the Staff of Revgato floating behind Eirudy. You must approach the Staff of Revgato in order to get the upgrade. If you don't approach it, it will remain the Old Staff of Revgato after the vision ends.
Fine Blade Shubetha:
  • Acquired: Pick from the three treasures Adrian shows you (cannot pick the others afterwards)
  • Description: The best sword that has been passed down in the Shubeth family. Equip to get physical ATK 24% up.
  • Note: Picking this is the only way to acquire the Za'rrel Shubetha. This is also the only treasure that can be upgraded on all three routes; the Staff of Revgato can only be unlocked during a story event in the Light/True paths, while Armedak's Ecarr Vertel skill can only be unlocked in an area unlocked during the Light/True path stories, and its upgrade is acquired in the after story (which requires the Light/True endings).
Captain's Sword:
  • Acquired: Meet Hector at his usual place in Shubeth Road in Chapter 3, after saving the workers trapped in the mine
  • Description: The sword used by Hector when he was a captain. Equip to get physical ATK 50 up.
Khan Za'rrel:
  • Acquired: Give a Claw of an Ancient Dragon to Za'rrel the Weaponmaker
  • Description: Physical ATK +96.
  • Note: In post-game, there is an upgraded form called Golden Za'rrel.
Staff of revgato

Staff of Revgato

Staff of Revgato:
  • Acquired: Pick Old Staff of Revgato in Chapter 2 → go to the Spring of Truth in Misty Forest (Chapter 4, Light/True paths) → Approach the Staff of Revgato in the vision
  • Description: Revgato's staff restored by the power of Revgato. Increases the effect of magic by 55%, restoring HP as much as the MP used.

It also unlocks the spell Unir when equipped, which will appear above the swordsmanship skills. Unir spell using 1 to 3 rounds to build an energy ball, and throw at enemies on the next round, without using MP. Damage is based on Magic power and rounds of stacking.

Za'rrel Shubetha:
  • Acquired: Pick Fine Blade Shubetha in Chapter 2 → complete the "Thieves in the Mine" subquest (gain Rare Metal) → Visit Za'rrel with Shubetha equipped and Rare Metal in inventory.
  • Description: Shubetha enhanced by Za'rrel the weaponmaker. Equip to get physical ATK up by 50%.

It also unlocks the skill Deathblow when equipped, which will appear above the swordsmanship skill button in the combat menu. It activates after one turn, building up energy for the thrust while leaving you defenseless. Its power relies solely on STR.

Glitch: Za'rrel will sometimes be unresponsive if Khan Za'rrel event is not completed.

Staff of Filia:
  • Acquired: Complete Filia's side-story (enter her forest 4 times and see all the events)
  • Description: The staff used by Filia. Equip to get magic effect 30% up. Also, a vine will protect you from 1 attack in a time of crisis.
Opinion (Flecher1s): Fine Blade Shubetha, Old Staff of Revgato, and their upgraded forms are the game's strongest physical and magical weapons, respectively. Deathblow and Unir are generally similar, but uses STR or MAG to determine damage. Deathblow can only stack 1 time while Unir can be stacked up to 3 times, but Za'rrel Shubetha can be acquired much earlier in game.

Armedak and its upgraded form are overall inferior to the two above, and the upgraded form can only be accessed post-game. While being able to equip Ecarr Vertel spell without using a slot can be useful, other spells will require MP that you won't have anyway if you used Ecarr Vertel first. Furthermore, using Ecarr Vertel with the Staff of Revgato will restore some HP from MP used in the spell, making latter a much better option.

In terms of non-exclusive weapons prior to post-game, Khan Za'rrel and Staff of Filia are the strongest physical and magical weapons.

  • Price: 1000 Gold

Incomplete Khan Za'rrel:
  • Acquired: Purchase it from Za'rrel the Weaponmaker
  • Price: 12000 Gold

If you purchase the Incomplete Khan Za'rrel, you cannot complete the Khan Za'rrel quest.

Opinion (DQueenie13): None of these weapons are worth purchasing. The only time you'd need to purchase one is a Warrior Sword, if you're recreating the Enhanced Dryad Wand after using the default Wand to create the Red/Blue Dryad Staff or the Maegrik Blade; if you're in Chapter 4, the warriors no longer drop Warrior Swords, so if you sold all the Warrior Swords you acquired in previous chapters, you'd have to buy one to forge an Enhanced Dryad Wand.
